•    Abs Exercises

Starting Exercise
Sit - ups
•    Lie flat on the floor on an exercise mat with your knees bent as feet still flat on the floor.
•    Place your hands behind the head and elbows out.
•    Now, with your safe position, inhale and exhale... and raise upper body from the floor.
•    As much as possible, bring chest closer to the knees.
•    Hold in such position for a second and then get back to the starting position
•    Do 3 sets for 10 -15 counts.
Stomach Tuck
•    Sit straight and upright against the back of a chair with your feet flat on the floor.
•    Now, exhale and at the same time do a stomach tucking (stomach in).
•    Hold your stomach in for 2-3 seconds and breathe in as you allow your stomach into a normal position.
•    Repeat the steps several times a day. You can do it anytime, watching television, before sleeping, studying, etc.
Waist Twists
•    Again, sit straight on a chair with your feet flat on the floor and few inches apart.
•    Place your fingertips on your waists so the arms are bent at the elbows.
•    Now, slowly and gently twist your elbows, arms and shoulders just like turning to look over your shoulder. Your head must follow around with the upper part of your body.
•    During this exercise, your abdominal muscles must be kept tensed and contracted.
•    As you are comfortable with it, do it also on the other side and then get back to the center or to the normal position and repeat the steps.
Regular Abdominal Exercises
The Crunch
•    Lie on your back with feet flat on the floor and legs must be bent at a 45 degree angle; your hands must be resting under the neck.
•    Lift your upper body and head from the floor and move towards the knees as possible; your feet, buttocks and lower back must be on the floor.
•    Lower again the head and upper body to the floor and repeat the step for 3 sets with 15 counts.
Reverse Crunch
•    Lie on your back on the floor with an exercise mat; make sure you are holding into a table leg to keep you stable during the exercise.
•    Raise your legs up to the ceiling and knees slightly bent;
•    Lower it down few inches above the floor; Feet and legs must not touch the floor.
•    Repeat the step and then return to the starting position.
Best Abdominal Exercises
Bicycle
•    Lie flat on the floor and back pressed against the floor.
•    Place your hands beside or under your head and bring your knees up to the ceiling or about 45 degree angle and then slowly go through pedal like motion on a bicycle.
•    Now, touch your left elbow to your right knee, then your right elbow to your left knee.
•    Do 3 sets for 15 counts.
Crunch on an exercise ball
•    With an exercise ball, sit on it and feet flat on the floor.
•    Allow the ball to roll back slowly until you feel your thighs and torso are corresponding with the floor.
•    Now, contract your abdominal as you raise your upper body for a crunch.
•    Repeat the steps and do it, 3 sets for 15 counts.
Cardin Trainings
These are done 30 minutes daily to help you burn your overall body fats which in turn help you lose stomach fat.
These are the following:
•    Brisk walking
•    Tread milling
•    Bicycling
•    Swimming
•    Hiking
•    Jogging
•    Aerobics

Generally speaking, an exercise that works on your cardie is ideal for helping you to lose weight as it stimulates your heart rate and forces your body to begin burning energy and excess fat. Pumping weights at the gym may make you stronger, but it won't necessarily help you to lose weight, much the same as crunches will tone your abdominal but won't help you to lose belly fat.


Play A Sport

Sometimes the hardest thing about an exercise routine is sticking to it. By regularly playing a sport that you enjoy, you can avoid this problem and help yourself to lose weight quickly, obviously depending on the type of sport and the intensity with which you participate.
